50 years and a date that marks us

A mark is an identification, a word or symbol that distinguishes or summarizes information. The dictionary also says that a mark is a "Signal that is left by contact or pressure of one thing on another".

In the Cajamarcan countryside we use the word 'mark' as a synonym for carrying, putting in the arms or on the lap, cradling. When a child is tired and can no longer walk, for example, we say: "Mark them!"

And in our Quechua language, Marca or Marka means region, place, town.

This 31st March we will celebrate 50 years of walking, with books on earth.

From this date that marks us with all the meanings, we can review the calendar that we have published, which we can gladly send out if you ask us.
