Reading in quarantine

Due to the health emergency in our country, we are staying at home. We all know that this social isolation has a strong rationale and, therefore, we face it with optimism, patience and faith.

One of the pieces of news that most reassures us and gives us hope is to see how the Earth takes a breath and recovers a little bit from everything that some humans do to it when we can leave the house.

And it also gives us hope the fact that we are accompanied by good friends: in this case, the books of our Rural Libraries. It is true that between one and another household chore time passes very quickly, but it is also good to take a little time to read as a family, taking advantage of the opportunity.

At home, some nights, we make reading circles with the fascicles of the series "And other stories", because the idea is to cheer us up, entertain ourselves and learn more about our traditions, and these books, in addition, amuse us a lot.

In our first night we have read "The rabbit and the fox", "The fox and the little bird", "The lic-lic", "The little head", "The carbuncle" and other tales ...

Now we know that, as a family, quarantined, we can put our fears away and have fun, reading together and sharing what we read.

Thanks to Rural Libraries!
A reading family ;)
